Outline Planning permission has been granted for Prospect Estates, on 14 February 2019).
The proposal covers the development of four new buildings of between four and nine storeys. These would provide a total of 272 new apartments, with a mix of one-, two- and three bedroom units. A 5 per cent affordable housing provision is included.
A total of 136 car parking spaces would be provided, the majority in undercroft parking areas. Three commercial units would also be created on the ground floor of one of the buildings.
The car parking will be provided at ground floor level to raise the residential units above the flood level. The buildings would also incorporate flood resilience measures.
